Missing the MN State Fair and other summer Festivals? Don’t worry, there’s still time to enjoy the last glimmers of summer! Lose yourself in this full day of laughter, music, and shopping at the large outdoor West End Market on the State Fair grounds.

It’s time of a little socially distanced get-together!
This event will be completely outdoors and follow all the state-required safety protocols such as SOCIAL DISTANCING, CAPACITY LIMITATIONS, and REQUIRED FACE MASKS (with exceptions for eating and drinking the concessions provided by the MN State Fair). That said, we want this event to be fun and relaxing for everyone! This year has been stressful. We all deserve to take some time to safely unwind with friends.
Here’s what you can expect at the Pay Gap Comedy & Music Festival:
10:00 am: The Marketplace Opens! Come early to shop with local small businesses and artisans. Your business will directly help the vendors in our community recover from the impact of COVID-19.
12:00 pm - 6:30 pm: The comedy variety show begins! Get ready for some feel-good laughs with Mary Mack (Hulu’s Solar Opposites & Trover Saves the Universe), Mary Jo Pehl (MST3K & Riff Trax) and Miss Shannan Paul (2020 City Pages Best Stand-up & Comedy Through the Chaos).
Our comedy headliners will be joined by some of the best local stand-up, improv, sketch, and musical comedians including Ivey Award winners Shannan Custer & Carolyn Pool (2 Sugars Show), Elise Cole (People of Comedy), Suzanne the Magician (Penn & Teller Show), Maggie Faris (Winner MN Comedy Laugh Off), Khadijah Cooper (2019 City Pages Best New Comic Finalist) and Julia Gay!
3:30 - 6:30 pm: Settle in for an afternoon of country and soul music. enjoy performances by the Devon Worley Band, Kat Perkins, and the Steele Sisters – Jearlyn & Jevetta, accompanied by Billy Steele on the piano!
Tickets are available for the full day festival or you can purchase Comedy Only or Music Only half-day passes. The full line-up and schedule will be available soon!
