Whether you have had a hard time finding seeds of your favorite varieties, want to grow a family-favorite tomato, adapt a variety to local growing conditions, or just want to share seeds with others, this workshop will provide the information you need to get you started on the path of seed saving.

Presenter Bio:

Bruce Galer was raised on a farm in southwestern Minnesota and has been gardening with vegetables most of his life. He became a Sherburne County Master Gardener in 2016. Bruce is a professional geologist and certified wetland delineator in Minnesota and is employed as an environmental consultant. His vegetable gardens are over 1,500 square feet and he is passionate about maintaining heirloom varieties, seed saving, and pollinators.
