About
Create with and learn about plants through art, storytelling, and outdoor exploration in this one-day camp for youth ages 9–13. Campers will explore plants from both Minnesotan and Swedish landscapes, learning about their uses in art as well as in the kitchen! While not the focus of this camp, students will also encounter some Swedish language learning embedded in the day’s activities. No prior Swedish language experience needed.
This camp will be co-led by visiting instructor, Anna Andersson, and ASI Language & Cultural Programs Coordinator, Liz Stopka, who share a love for experiential learning and a knowledge of the Midwest and Scandinavian landscapes.
Campers must bring their lunch and water bottle, and wear clothes appropriate for the outdoors and crafts. Advanced registration is required and closes three weeks before the camp start date.
