From eggs to chickens to a little egg money to Minnesota's turkey industry, poultry have played an important role in Minnesota's agriculture history.

Meet chickens, help care for them, and discover how they were used at the historic farm. In the Farm Lab barn, meet today's broilers, layers, and turkeys, help prepare feed rations, and explore biosecurity measures. Then sample poultry-based dishes in the Learning Kitchen and listen to some favorite children's stories featuring chicks and chickens in the visitor center.
