About
The Powderhorn Art Fair will host its first in-person fair since 2019 on August 6th and 7th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day in Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis, MN. The fair will feature over 150 exhibiting local and regional, juried artists representing 20 art categories.. The Powderhorn Art Fair embodies the iconic artsy and eclectic Powderhorn community and is proud to present a vibrant and diverse selection of art in celebration of its 31st anniversary.
Award winners spanning 2019 to 2021 will be honored and featured throughout the fair. As in past years, the Powderhorn Art Fair is excited to showcase hyper-local artists, arts nonprofits, and arts groups throughout the fair. Art categories include; clay, digital art, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood. Prices vary and there is something for every art lover, seasoned collector and first-time buyer.
The 31st annual fair brings several new and exciting amenities and activities. Each day the fair will begin with an opening ceremony to celebrate art and community. Attendees will be able to enjoy live music as they honor community members and artists alike. For the first time ever, the Powderhorn Art Fair will feature a series of immersive art installations offering visitors interactive experiences that transport them into the artist's vision.
The Powderhorn Art Fair is partnering with Reverie Cafe + Bar to offer the Reverie Beer Garden in 2022. A line-up of delicious local brews will be offered to fairgoers to compliment sweet and savory food from over a dozen food trucks. The fair is always free and fun for all ages, offering several activities for youth around scenic Powderhorn Lake.
