About

Running WILD Trail Run is held at Maplewood State Park located seven miles east of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota on State Highway 108 in Otter Tail County. The park offers more than 9,000 acres of tree-covered hills, including clear lakes nestled in deep valleys, hardwood forests, wild flowers, a variety of wild life and 25 miles of hiking trails.

We encourage you to enjoy Maplewood State Park after the race. Bring your swimsuits, towels and a picnic for the day and enjoy Lake Lida. The beach is just steps away from the start line.

Signs will direct you to the race as you enter the park on race day.

There are two races for kids and adults can pick the 7K or 1 mile.
