Sami Bracelets with Silver Beads Workshop with Kim Bakken-Parr

This class is similar to the beginning Sami bracelet class where pewter thread (nickel free alloy with 4% silver) is braided, but an added twist is the addition of sterling silver beads in groups of three. The braid has reindeer hide sewn at both ends along with a leather clasp and reindeer horn button. All materials and tools are provided. Additional bracelet kits are available for purchase. If needed bring magnification for this close hand work.

Kim Bakken-Parr began her career as a high school chemistry teacher who loved to work in the lab. Her experimentation and teaching had continued as she shares her passion for a variety of 3-D art mediums.
