Winter is a great time to study up and improve on or learn a new skill. While there may not be a lot of birds around during the winter season in the Northwoods, there certainly are a confusing and challenging number of birds that migrate through and breed in our area during the summer! This workshop will help you develop your skills and give you some important background for beginning birders on your journey in this life long hobby. This workshop is meant for beginning birders and will feature two days of instruction featuring how-to birding tips and tricks to get you started, an introduction to birds and anatomy, and more! Please bring snacks and lunch for each day, as well as your optics, favorite bird books, and any other things you find useful when learning about and looking at birds!
