This monthly series provides a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals, families, and children who have sensory sensitivities. Experience our Minnesota Journey gallery, temporary exhibits, the Touch & See Lab, and a brief planetarium show at 8:45 am—all with lowered lighting, quieter sounds, and fewer visitors.
During this Sensory Friendly Saturday, you can meet Bell resident artist Felicia Cooper and explore her work in progress. Felicia is a puppeteer who is learning about Minnesota’s native mussels and developing an in-gallery performance about them, to be performed in January. This Saturday, she will perform vignettes from the larger performance and talk to visitors about what she is learning. This is a drop-in, in-gallery experience, without lighting effects or loud audio.
