About
Shady
Hollow Flea Market, has welcomed
shoppers for more than fifty years. With up to 100 vendors operating across 3.5
acres, it’s a must-see for fans of antiques, vintage finds, locally made goods, and repurposed décor. Shady Hollow Flea Market is open every weekend from
Memorial Day through Labor Day and every Saturday in September.
Shady Hollow has been the place for vacationers and lake residents of all ages to buy, sell, and bargain. We've helped make memories while shopping, eating, and just lingering together. Today, we remain one of the best destinations in the region for families to spend an inexpensive and fun day.
Meander through 3.5 acres of treasure-laden, shaded, and grassy grounds. Every weekend, we feature 25 permanent vendors, many returning year after year selling from their quaint, boutique cabins. These, along with up to 100 temporary, daily vendors from throughout the tri-state area, show their wares. You'll see many of the daily vendors from week to week and others, less so. Every week has something different to offer.
Every member of the family will find something to love. Mom will enjoy shopping for jewelry, fashion clothing, and fine collectibles. Dad's treasure hunt may be for old sporting equipment, tools, and all things stereo related. And the kids can learn about the good ol' days while finding used books, toys, and funny t-shirts. Or, cool off by riding down our 250' slip 'n' slide.
Take a break and have breakfast or lunch at the restaurant. We feature breakfasts and American fare at the Shady Hollow Grill. The Grill now makes homemade, fresh pizzas in a woodfired oven. Or keep it fair-style and go for a corn dog with a side of mini-doughnuts and top it off with a smoothie. Don't forget the kettle corn! And, we usually have a guest food truck or two for an even better variety of food.
We are open every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend and every Saturday in September with plenty of free parking. In the heart of the Detroit and Pelican Lakes area, just 5 miles south of Detroit Lakes on the east side of Lake Melissa.
