About

Join the community for a FREE spring speaker event featuring Carlos Whittaker on Wednesday, April 26 starting at 3:45 pm!

These are crazy times! The last few years created a work/life tension that can’t be denied. Video meetings, politicized hyper-awareness, tech addiction, content overload, and social unrest have eroded relationships.

We’re more agitated than ever. We’re wrestling with big issues. We’re less connected to one another. It’s a perfect storm of strained relationships, debilitating anxiety, and forgetting what it feels like to… be human!

Carlos will share how to keep disagreements from defining us, how to say no to becoming rage-filled humans, how to shift from ‘me’ to ‘we’ to ‘everybody’, how to become builders instead of demolitionists, and ultimately, how to be the best versions of ourselves.

In spite of all the divisiveness we see, unity is closer than we think!

This event will be in the Performing Arts Center at the Alexandria Area High School.

Parking opens: 3:15 pm (park in south lot)

Speaker Presentation: 3:45 pm
