Sunset on the Lock is the only chance to experience the best of Minnesota summer nights in one of the most picturesque locations in the Twin Cities, the Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam.

Join us on June 29 for the lock’s extended evening hours to get close to the falls and the Mississippi River. In addition to stunning views, enjoy special photography-themed programming inspired by this special time of day. Learn tips for capturing landscapes and nature, leveraging the golden hour, and taking Insta-worthy photos with your smartphone.

Stroll along the lock wall with panoramic views of the Mississippi River and surrounding area, and find your own perfect moments to capture throughout the evening. The event is free and open for all to enjoy – no experience required!

The lock will also be open for extended evening hours on Friday, June 28 from 5 PM to 9 PM, without the special photography programming. Join us!
