About
Iraqi identifying artists reclaim historic narratives, redefine legacies, and imagine possibilities in the multimedia exhibition Today, Tomorrow. Like a two-way mirror, the artists reflect on personal and collective legacies while simultaneously providing a window into visions for the future.
Today, Tomorrow is on view from Saturday, February 3 through Saturday, April 20, 2024. Anderson Center galleries are open 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday (closed Sunday – Tuesday). Galleries are always free; donations are welcome.
Through poetry, video, photography, book-making, and other visual art forms, these artists ask important questions for the future. Amidst the ashes of crises, where do we find the agency to disrupt? In what form do we resist while carrying the burden of the shadows from which we emerge? How can we critically reflect on and reimagine our ongoing journey?
