About
The Travis Anderson Trio celebrates the music of George Gershwin, perhaps the greatest American composer. At twenty-five years old (and in the span of just two weeks), he wrote “Rhapsody In Blue.” This piece turned the musical world upside down by bringing a jazz sound to the concert hall. Furthermore, from “Summertime” to “An American In Paris”, Gershwin’s influence has been felt for over 100 years. The Trio celebrates his monumental contributions to Broadway, movies, the concert hall, and perhaps most robustly, jazz.
