University of Minnesota Gospel Choir

About

Join the University of Minnesota Gospel Choir for a wide-ranging performance of musical styles filled with joy, love, and peace—done with a sociocultural appreciation and understanding of the impact of gospel music worldwide. Directed by Dr. Adrian Davis, the choir was re-established on campus in 2018 and is open to UMN students, faculty, staff, and alums. Their concert experiences have featured notable local, national, and international artists alongside the choir, including the 29:11 International Exchange, Cornisha Garmon, Sherri Orr, Jovonta Patton, and Trey McLaughlin.

In case of inclement weather, this performance will be moved indoors to the Best Buy Theater.

Co-presented by Northrop, Institute for Advanced Study, Multicultural Student Engagement, School of Music, and Welcome Week.
