About

The Bakken Museum will begin their 2019 lecture series on Feb. 6, with On The Verge: Designing for Health. During the lecture, a panel of industry experts will share their thoughts on how advancements in science, engineering, and humanities can be used to design spaces that positively impact health.

The On The Verge series will be moderated by Jon Hallberg, MD, Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota and Minnesota Public Radio Commentator.

Panelists will include:

Thomas Fisher - Professor, Director of the Minnesota Design Center, and Dayton Hudson Chair in Urban Design
Kathleen A. Harder, PhD - Director, Center for Design in Health and Director of Graduate Studies, Human Factors Program, University of Minnesota
Susan Jepson, MPH, BSN - Vice President, Upstream Health Innovations, Hennepin Healthcare
