About
Vintage Band Festival 2023 is a celebration of wind and brass band music in an outdoor setting along the banks of the Cannon River in Northfield, Minnesota. It will take place on July 29, 2023 and will feature 12 bands performing on the Wenger Showmobile Stage in Bridge Square.
The music begins at 9:00 am and will showcase community bands, swing bands, Latino bands, British Style brass bands, New Orleans jazz and more.
During the morning hours, Riverwalk Market Fair will also be underway with over 30 vendors selling local produce and artisan baked goods as well as woodworkers, potters, photographers and other artists.
The festival is family-friendly and admission is free. Bring a chair or blanket and spend an hour or the whole day. All are welcome.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
