About

Recommended for all ages

It’s been 49 years since the last manned mission to the Moon. Now, NASA is preparing to launch the first woman and the first person of color to the Moon later this decade. Before humans take their next steps on the lunar surface, the uncrewed Artemis I mission, using the Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft, will launch this winter. The mission: to enter lunar orbit and return safely to Earth. Join our planetarium team as they dig into the upcoming, history-making mission and enjoy live views of the Moon and night sky objects through the Bell Museum’s telescopes.
