Everyone Welcome!

This annual Native American celebration honors culture and heritage. This ceremony involves sharing of food, song and dance. The S Lake Indian Council welcomes everyone to come celebrate with them. 

Explanation of Traditional Pow Wow: 

A Pow Wow is a sacred social gathering held by many North American indigenous communities. A modern pow wow is a specific type of event for Native American people to meet and dance, sing, socialize, and honor their cultures.

Everyone is to gather together at the S Lake, Minnesota Pow Wow Grounds. S Lake is a community located along the Avenue of the Pines Scenic Byway.
