Vehicles can access Shepard Farm via a one-way road. Please enter from 70th Street S. and exit on Jamaica Ave. The paved lot offers ample parking for cars; please do not park in the school bus drop-off/pickup loop. Pedestrians can enter Shepard Farm from paved trails along 70th Street S. and Jamaica Ave.

Nature, art, and mindfulness come together to create a unique and relaxing experience at Shepard Farm! With Naturalist Mary and former Naturalist Fellow and current artist Ashley Johnson, experiment with watercolor paints and have fun laying them onto the page in abstract, open-ended patterns. As they dry, wander the woods and admire nature’s beauty while finding inspiration for your masterpiece. Finish off your artwork with meandering linework that allows your mind to relax and embrace a meditative art experience.
This program is for ages 16+. No art experience necessary—all skill levels welcome! Materials will be provided and included in program cost.
