Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and the Friends of Sherburne invite you to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week, Urban National Wildlife Refuge and National Public Lands Day at their 26th Annual Wildlife Festival!

The public is invited to enjoy a variety of family-oriented activities featuring live birds, bees, "Spike" the porcupine and other animals from the Audubon Center of the North Woods and Wildlife Science Center, horse-drawn wagon rides, nature journaling, guided hikes, and wildlife discovery.

Food trucks will be on site during the event. Event site located at the refuge's Oak Savanna Learning Center (16797 289th Ave NW, Zimmerman, MN 55398) , off of CR 9, in Zimmerman, Minnesota.

Sherburne County Road 9 will be under construction on the day of the festival. The road will be open to local traffic and access to the Oak Savanna Learning Center. For updated information about the road resurfacing project, please reference the refuge website's Alerts page: https://bit.ly/2kwXF44
