About

January is the perfect time of year to pamper yourself, your family and your friends. The Arboretum’s Winter Wellness Fair is designed to help visitors find nourishment for the body, mind and soul all in one place. Visitors will be invited to come out for the day to shop at the Winter Wellness Market, take a yoga or meditation class, and explore the winter grounds at the Arboretum by walking, skiing or snowshoeing.

This event will allow you to kick off the new year in a healthy, intentional way. Here’s what’s in store:

  • Shop the Winter Wellness Market, which is a holistically curated market featuring a selection of local vendors focusing on organic food, wellness and self-care products and services. Vendors will be positioned throughout the Oswald Visitor Center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Sample from our lineup of workshops and yoga classes, which offer options to explore your personal path and work towards a healthier lifestyle. These are interactive sessions that are scheduled throughout the entire day and guided by local holistic service providers and fitness instructors. • Attend a presentation from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Cafe Gallery with featured artists Tracy Walsh and Lynelle Kocher on how artwork from their show “Eyes Wide Open”, connects with the important health benefits of Nature. “Eyes Wide Open” celebrates the enchanting interplay of vibrant colors and rich textures. Whether through paint or rich macro photography each piece invites you to pause, notice and observe the beauty that surrounds us, transforming everyday moments into extraordinary experiences.
