Wizard of Oz: Youth Version, is a condensed version of the classic MGM film featuring Judy Garland, that includes songs such as Over the Rainbow, Follow the Yellowbrick Road, If I Only had a Brain” and more….

Mandatory Introduction Sessions (both days) will be a general introduction to educational youth theatre, script reading, basic stage presence, body movements, projection and more.Casting will be based on experience and past participation. Our newest and youngest participants will likely be part of the ensemble (munchkins and such). Lead roles will be reserved for more experienced actors.

Rehearsals will tentatively be M-Th and attendance will be required for all. The Schedule is subject to change.Performances will be at the Eveleth Auditorium Friday and Saturday, November 10 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m. An additional performance may be added depending on the number of participants.

Participants who would like to help with back-stage/other duties, rather than being on stage, are welcome to register. A Non-refundable registration fee of $75 will be due during the intro sessions .
This is a full commitment as our casts are a team and depend on one another. Scheduling conflicts may of course be discussed and worked with (to an extent).The Educator/production team consists of Paul Gregersen, Lindsey Bergan, Amy Peterson, Katie Feldt, and Nick Nelson.
