Women’s Adventure Spree – Experience the Superior Hiking Trail

During this lodge-based women's adventure, experience
one of the country’s most scenic trails!

Join us as we trek one of the top ten hiking trails in the U.S. – the Superior Hiking Trail (SHT). The trail skirts Lake Superior while running along Minnesota’s beautiful North Shore. This scenic wonder crosses through multiple state parks and offers stunning vistas, waterfalls, clear streams and rich forests, all the while being within view of the world’s greatest lake. Fall brings out the best in the SHT—low humidity, few bugs, intense colors, and migratory hawks and eagles.

This week will be an active exploration of many gorgeous and challenging stretches of the trail. Expect rugged hiking (about 4-6 miles per day) rewarded with great views and a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Each day will end with the cozy comforts of a lodge for conversation and libations.

As a women's-only program, this offers great scenery, accommodations and camaraderie. Lodging is based on double-occupancy. Lodging, meals, transportation from ACNW, and guides are included.

Registration is open to adult women only (21 yrs or older). This trip is limited to 16 participants, so register early.

Participants will meet at the Audubon Center of the North Woods by 9:00 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, September 28 and we will load up the vans and head out. Vans will return to the Center by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2.
