Women's Creative Writing And Reflection: Off-Grid with Points Unknown

This weekend takes place at the Points Unknown homestead in the remote north woods of Minnesota’s Arrowhead Region. Points Unknown is fully off-grid and offers a solar-powered Guest Suite that sleeps six with full kitchen and hot water.

In addition to creative writing guided by Windcradle’s Mary Ellen Ashcroft, an author, former English Professor and current Creative Writing Instructor for the Grand Marais Art Colony, participants will also be led by Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Dog Sledding instructor Linda Newman in hikes and walks in some of her special secret local spots. We will also take reflection time along Lake Superior's shores that could very will include some of the Points Unknown sled pets.

Writing retreat limited to six participants. Fee of $395 includes the following:
-Lodging in the Points Unknown Off-Grid Guest Suite
-Guided hikes & walks in lesser-known spots of the Arrowhead
-Creative writing instruction from author Mary Ellen Ashcroft
-A supportive, encouraging, all-women environment
-A chance to experience the fully off-grid lifestyle

There will be collaborative cooking (potluck) to keep your cost down.
