About
Experience the beauty of the North at this secluded park on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Listen quietly for the call of the loon, or cast a line in these outstanding fishing waters. 17 mi hiking trails; 9 mi cross-country ski, 1 mi snowmobile trail. Ski trail runs through rugged wilderness with deer, bear, and moose. Maps along trail. Ski pass required. Ski passes sold at park office.
Plenty of camping opportunities can be found at the park year around. In addition to tent and RV campsites, this park offers camper cabins with bunk beds, electricity, simple furnishings, screened porch and deck.
In the winter, try cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, or ice fishing.
Rates
Park permits: $35 annual, $26 second vehicle, $12 handicapped, or $7 daily. Camping fees are separate.
