The AZ Gallery is an artists’ cooperative, owned and run by its members. Member artwork is always on exhibit in our permanent Member Gallery section and we have a gift shop featuring gift items from local artists.. Our programming throughout the year features a monthly rotation of guest artists, group shows, invitationals and juried exhibitions.
The AZ Gallery was founded in 1997. Over the years we’ve provided our artist-members with opportunities to not only exhibit their work, but also actively participate in gallery operations. This includes everything from curation, programming, event planning, publicity, marketing, business partnerships, finance, space planning & design, gallery maintenance and more! Join our community of fellow artists and participate in the gallery’s operation. We welcome artists living and working in the Twin Cities to apply for membership.

Housed on the ground floor in the Northern Warehouse in Lowertown of St Paul, AZ Gallery has great visibility and street access. Lowertown is considered a leading center for the arts and has long had the largest concentration of working artists of any city in the Midwest . This large and growing community continues to have a major influence on the quality of life in the neighborhood and adds significantly to its cultural and artistic richness.
