Would you like to stay at a family friendly resort with ultra clean cabins located on a great fishing chain of lakes? Big Timber Lodge offers 12 log and knotty pine housekeeping cabins and lake homes. All are air conditioned, spread along the lakefront and surrounded by mature pine and birch trees. Fully and comfortably furnished with linens, full kitchen, grill, picnic table, and numerous fire pits.

The century old lodge building has a rock fireplace, snack bar, free wireless internet, TV with unlimited movies, game room, general store and a complimentary coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate hour in the morning. The resort has 10 acres of woods and meadows that includes a playground, shuffle board, horse shoes, volleyball, basketball, holey board and a patio and deck swing for viewing the wonderful sunsets. The swim beach is large and sandy with a gradual slope into crystal clear water and is protected from boat traffic. There are paddle boats, kayaks and water toys for guests to enjoy.

For the fishermen/women there's fishing boat/motor, pontoon boat and fish finder rental. Bait, gas, concrete boat ramp, dock space with electricity is all close to the cabins. Best of all, is water access to the 4 best lakes on the Crow Wing Chain. Our lakes are known for Walleye, Northern, Largemouth Bass, Crappies and Sunfish with no slot limits.

The resort is close to Park Rapids and Walker, the Heartland Trail for biking, hiking & rollerblading. Lots of great golf courses are close by. The Headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park, Northern Lights Casino, horseback riding, ATV trails, canoeing, shopping and fine or fun dining are all close by.
