Brookside is located in the historical and quaint village of Marine on Saint Croix that was founded in 1839 as Marine Mills. Our village was the site of the first commercial sawmill on the St. Croix River. And almost a hundred years later, Brookside came into the picture. Brookside was built in 1930 as a creamery and became a bar in 1939. Brookside Bar & Grill is proud to continue its legacy of serving the community as a local gathering place for food, drink, and fun. Whether you call Marine your home or you’re just passing through the St. Croix River Valley, having a good time with awesome people is always on the menu at the Brookside.
