Surrounded by the tall pines of the Chippewa National Forest, Bluewater visitors experience the serene beauty of the Northwoods and private, exclusive-use of the property.

Our seven-acre camp is located on Bluewater Lake, just 20 minutes north of Grand Rapids, MN. The lake is largely undeveloped with an amazing 20-foot water clarity and a sandy rock bottom. Wildlife sightings of loons, deer, bald eagles and great blue heron are plentiful, and be sure to keep an eye out on hikes for wild strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Bluewater Lake is part of the Wabana Chain of Lakes, perfect for a day of exploration, which takes you to the historic Joyce Estate. The Wabana Chain also provides excellent fishing, including lake trout, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappie, perch, bluegill and sunfish.

Bluewater Lodge provides living space, kitchen and sleeping quarters for 39 people. The main gathering space is flexible for dining, lounging or indoor activities. The lodge features an indoor wood fireplace and TV/DVD player. Sleeping accommodations are divided between two wings off the main gathering area. Each wing features bedrooms that sleep two to 10 people in twin and/or bunk beds, plus two full bathrooms with showers. All bedrooms have an exterior door. A beautiful commercial kitchen provides ample food storage and prep space, as well as utensils and cookware needed to prepare and serve meals. Guests provide their own bedding and towels.

Groups enjoy exclusive use, including recreational equipment: board games, basketball hoop, volleyball net, sports equipment, canoes with life jackets and paddles, and access to hiking, cross-country ski, and snowmobile trails.
