N of Park Rapids 19 mi on U.S. 71 to Itasca State Park, go to the Douglas Lodge area, follow tour boat signs. We are located on the pier below Douglas Lodge. Walk or drive down. Begin Boarding at approx 15 min to the hour. Purchase tickets on pier only.

A 1 3/4 hr, 10 mi naturalist narrated history/ wildlife tour to the Mississippi Headwaters aboard the 141 Pax "Chester Charles II", on Lake Itasca. Located in Itasca State Park. Our tours provide a comprehensive overview of the history, wildlife and points of interest in Itasca State Park. Follow the same route Ozawindib took Schoolcraft in 1832. Our tour provides unique opportunities for viewing and photographing wildlife like the common loon, bald eagles, great blue herons, deer, osprey,and landscapes seen only by boat.Snacks & bev for sale. Onboard Weddings and Private charters available for all your special occasions. Ceremony performed by licensed Captain. We are located below Douglas Lodge in Itasca State Park.
