Dickerson's Lake Florida Resort is a small, family owned resort near Spicer, MN. The resort has 13 cabins on the east side of Lake Florida near Spicer, New London & Willmar, MN. Dickerson’s Resort has a great 450 foot level, sand beach. Resort guests have free use of paddleboat, kayaks, canoe, hydro-bikes, bikes, trikes & wagons. Boats, motors and pontoon abvailable. Beautiful sunsets & nesting loons. 4th generation owners Bob & Connie Dickerson want families to "Build Sandcastles & Memories" while relaxing on their beautiful beach.
Window boxes overflowing with flowers and a plate of fresh baked cookies on your table tell you this beachfront, family resort specializes in homeyness and hospitality. Dickerson's create additional fun for guests by serving homemade doughnuts on Sunday morning and hosting pizza parties by the beach, children's hayrides and marshmallow roasts. There are also bikes, trikes and wagons of all sizes to use. The 13 cabins/cottages are located on level grounds and range in size from 1-5 bedrooms. The cabins are all fully furnished with cooking facilities and bed linens.
Dickerson’s Resort is located just 2 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the Mall of America & the MN Twins. The Resort is close to the Glacial Lakes State Bike Trail, Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, golf courses and Sibley State Park. Kandiyohi County has many festivals and historical sites. Come cheer on the Willmar Stingers Baseball Team playing at Bill Taunton Stadium in Willmar. Restaurants only minutes away
