From Detroit Lakes, go south approximately 2 miles on Trunk Highway 59. Turn right (west) on County Road 6 for approximately 1/3 mile. Turn left (south)on County Road 19 for 3/4 mile. The Park entrance is on your left. Watch for signs.

Dunton Locks County Park is nestled along the shores of Muskrat Lake and Lake Sallie near Detroit Lakes. The park offers picnic shelters, two fishing piers, a mechanical boat tram, a paved 1.0 mile non-motorized recreation trail, as well as 6.1 km of hiking and mountain biking trails, which double as cross-country ski trails in the winter.

Dunton Locks County Park is open 7 days per week. Park hours are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.Rates
Dunton Locks Boat Tram fee is $10.00 per round trip or a season pass cost of $75.00.
