Erik's Retreat

About

The smallest act of generosity can change a life. Who ever thought you could make a difference simply with your choice of where to stay – for work or for pleasure. Now you can.

Next time you’re in Minneapolis, choose Erik’s Retreat. We offer upscale, boutique-style guest rooms run by young adults with autism. Concierges. Artists in residence. Historians. Chefs. All part of a population on the autism spectrum that’s now one in 68 children today – and for whom, as adults, meaningful jobs and careers are scarce. Regardless of their IQ. Level of education. Or desire for independence.

You and Erik’s Retreat are part of the solution. When you stay with us, you’ll be centrally located with access to business and shopping. Enjoy free breakfast. Free wifi too. All while providing meaningful careers for our talented staff.

Erik’s Retreat is close to all that the metropolitan Twin Cities have to offer. We provide a respite for families affected by autism, as well as convenient accommodations for business travelers, extended-stay visitors and more. Close to shopping (Mall of America, Southdale Center and the Galleria are minutes away), hospitals (Fairview Southdale is within walking distance), MSP airport and entertainment. Single rooms can sleep two guests, while our largest suite can sleep up to eight guests. Conference rooms for business meetings and special events are also available.

Stay with us and make a life-changing difference for others. Make your reservation today!

These entertaining, educational and enjoyable tours are led by young adults with autism who share unique expertise or talents within the arts, history, environment whatever their passion.
