Take Hwy 169 west of Virginia to Co Rd 453 (Morse Road). Turn left on Co Rd 453 and travel south for about 2.3 miles. Great Scott WMA is located on the left hand side. Walking access only.

The Great Scott Wildlfie Management Area is a wetland home to deer, waterfowl, moose, bear, wolves, songbirds, eagles, loons, and fisher. There are more than three miles of grassy hiking trails. The winter offers a great opportunity to snowshoe.
