Green Island is located just off from highway #71 on the north edge of the city of Wadena. Near the Pizza Hut watch for a roadside sign for Green Island turn east on that gravel road and follow to the end.

A privately owned 60 acre urban forest inside the City of Wadena open to the public during daylight hours for quiet outdoor activities such as: strolling, birdwatching, picnics, and
winter kicksledding, etc.

Includes outdoor sculpture ,a new forest, gardens, fruiting trees and shrubs, and a meditation hut.

Dates

Availability is daylight hours throughout the year. Of course, only fair weather conditions are enjoyable.
