Fifty piece community symphony orchestra presenting a series of concerts in Brainerd and Little Falls three times annually (October, December and April). 
The 2021-2022 Season Concert Series will feature:

FALL CONCERT:
“Let’s Got to the Movies”
Heartland Symphony Orchestra will be performing a mix of classical music made famous in the movies, as well as a few medleys as a fun way to attract families to the concert.
Saturday, October 16th at 7:30pm in Little Falls at Charles D. Martin Auditorium at Little Falls High School
Sunday, October 17th at 2:30pm in Brainerd at Tornstrom Auditorium

WINTER CONCERT:
“A Concerto for the Holidays”
This program will feature the world premiere of Quinn Mason’s Symphony in C Major. This program will also feature Dr. Hilary Lowery, Professor of Single Reeds at Bemidji State, performing a full concerto with the orchestra. Quinn was the winner of our 2020 Composer Competition, and the premiere has been delayed due to the pandemic. The second half of the concert will feature traditional holiday selections.
Saturday, December 4th at 7:30pm in Little Falls at Charles D. Martin Auditorium at Little Falls High School
Sunday, December 5th at 2:30pm at Brainerd's new Performing Arts Center: Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts
*An additional Outreach Concert will be held on Thursday, December 2 in Crosslake at The Log Church

SPRING CONCERT:
“Youthful Classics”
HSO will perform City Beautiful by Ingrid Stölzel, which was originally planned for our Spring 2020 program. The Youth Concerto Competition will be held in Spring 2022 and this program will feature the winners.
Saturday, April 2nd at 7:30pm in Little Falls at Charles D. Martin Auditorium at Little Falls High School
Sunday, April 3rd at 2:30pm at Brainerd's new Performing Arts Center: Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts
*An additional Outreach Concert will be held on Friday, April 1st for The Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts (GLAPA) at the Pequot Lakes High School Theater
