Hillcrest Resort is located just two hours north of the Twin Cities on the shores of Big Sandy Lake. Hillcrest resort offers a wonderful place for families to come and enjoy. With 7 cabins to stay in we offer a much smaller feel then many of the remaining resorts in our area. We offer gas on the lake so you can refuel without pulling your boat in and out to go to the gas station and interrupt the fun times you are having on the lake. When it comes time to refuel your body we also offer food and drinks in our restaurant and bar. We hope the next vacation you plan you consider us for your great Minnesota getaway!
Hillcrest offers something for everyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can come stay for a night, a week or just stop in for a bite to eat. Our beautiful beach offers a place to lounge in the sun and relax or build your favorite sandcastle! Fire rings around the premises offer a great way to enjoy the evening and catch a terrific view of our summer sunsets. Big Sandy Lake offers a large area for water based recreation.
Our cabins at Hillcrest can best be described as rustic. We have 7 cabins available for lodging year round. The cabins vary in range from one bedroom to three bedroom, with every one having its own furnished kitchen. There is no tv in the cabins but Wi-Fi is accessible to all of our guests.
