Dive into Freeborn County history! The history center campus is located at 1031 Bridge Avenue, Albert Lea, MN and includes a history center, the Kevin Savik Research Library, and a historic village.
Established in 1948, the history center houses a gallery of changing exhibits, a gift shop, the Kevin Savik Research Library, and archives and collections. ?The village includes an array of historic buildings and stops as well as agricultural displays.
Exhibits highlight a wide-range of topics from Freeborn County Business, Albert Lea celebrities Marion Ross and Eddie Cochran, Ghost Towns, and more.

2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month 11am - 2pm, June through September
Village Open May 1 - September 30, Wednesday - Friday from 10am-4pm, tours by appointment only
