Exit I-90 to Hwy 75, N into city, proceed to Main Street, turn east and travel five blocks. The History Center is located on the south side of the street and takes up most of the block.

The History Center houses artifacts dating from the 1870s when Luverne, the county seat, developed into an agri-business center. A variety of displays are available including the largest collection of nutcrackers in the Midwest. The newly renovated History Center is also a source for genealogy help with over 8,000 obituaries from Rock County

The History Center is open year around on Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Rates
