Welcome to Home Sweet Home Cafe & Cakery! Our family-run restaurant is located in the quaint little town of Lanesboro, MN. After several years of visiting, we decided to make it our home. Our entire family plays an important role in our operation.

We have much to offer with an everyday menu. We feature a wide variety of breakfast options, [served all day]. Lunch, [soup, burgers, salads, sandwiches] and different daily specials, plus Fri and Sat night evening supper specials. Along with great food, we offer a large display case filled with several varieties of desserts to choose from. They vary from week to week but offer at least 1 GF [gluten-free] option. There is another case that displays several different types of cookies, scones, Mississippi mud brownies, and Paleo brownies. We also have sweet rolls available. All of our food and baked goods are made in-store and from scratch.

We are licensed caterers and Liz is a Professional Cake Artist. Order birthday, wedding, or all occasion cakes. We also accept special dessert orders.

We are currently in the process of applying for our liquor license. Beer and wine will be on the menu standard, with drink specials featured daily to accompany food specials of the day.
