Nestled in the heart of lake country, you’ll find this beautiful and peaceful resort. Whether you’re coming to fish, relax or reconnect with your busy family, snowmobile, ATV or hike Ice Cracking Resort is the perfect getaway.

Guests can use our kayaks, paddle boats and enjoy the sandy beach. Boat/Pontoon rentals are available as well. Kids can keep busy on the water slide, the diving raft and playground. Don’t forget your s’more ingredients to indulge around one of the many fire pits.

We have 15 updated, knotty pine cabins all with full kitchens and a perfect view of the lake. You can sit on your deck and listen to the loons call or watch the bald eagles fly by.

With more than 20 lakes nearby, you’ll be sure to find a fishing hole to drop in a line or two.

Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids are just a short drive away and your family can take a quick trip up the road for some outdoor adventures at Itasca State Park or Tamarac National Refuge. During non-summer months, hunters will find deer, grouse and bear.

Ice Cracking Lodge and Resort was established in 1934. Using timbers cut from the surrounding forests, the modern facility became a meeting and vacation paradise for people and families from all over. The lodge and resort is rich in tradition and history from prohibition to modern times.

The Lodge offers a great place to join us for food, games, Sarsaparilla, frosty mugs of beer and regaling the events of the day. Serving lunch and dinner.
