Island View resort on beautiful Nest Lake is a well-known,
established resort. Here you will be greeted with a warm welcome and will find fun activities,clean accommodations, and quiet relaxation. Our spacious, tree shaded grounds with nicely-spaced cabins provide a peaceful, private atmosphere. 15 Lakes 15 Minutes We rent by the week or for the entire resort season and are located just 100 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Island View Resort overlooks Nest Lake, offering 1,000 acres of water for your favorite activities----fishing, boating, skiing, swimming, canoeing, etc. Nearby are five golf courses, the Glacial Lakes hiking/biking trail, and many shops with unique crafts, gifts, antiques, and quilting supplies. Start your day sitting by our sandy beach and listen to the loons calling, enjoy a pontoon cruise around the lake, or watch the kids fishing from the docks. End the day around your campfire ring (there's one at each cabin) as the sun sets from across the lake. All 12 cabins sit nicely on a hillside and are complete with household items, linens, kitchens and bathrooms. Most cabins have spacious decks for privacy and are located close to the lake or offer a beautiful view. FREE with each cabin are paddleboats, canoes, and kayaks. There is a rec/game room, a convenience store with videos and games, playground, cable rental, and badminton, volleyball, and horseshoe areas.Looking for more "to do's"? Each Friday evening the National Champion Little Crow Water Ski Team performs in New London's Neer Park. Spicer has miniature golf, bumper cars, movie theater, large park for picnics, and sandy swimming beach. Sibley State Park and the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center offer nature programs and ample hiking/biking trails. Tour the buffalo ranch, the county historical society, vintage automobile or boat museums in nearby Willmar.
