Lake Superior Art Glass is also your go-to gallery and studio for custom and commission glass pieces. Between us and our artists, we can make most anything you come up with.In our studio, students can take beginning, intermediate and advanced classes, as well as rent studio time to practice what they’ve learned. Lake Superior Art Glass also has the unique ability to make glass art right before your eyes.
Our furnace stays 2100° for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our specialized workstation in the front window allows you to watch our live demonstrations from the sidewalk, or better yet, come inside and get up close and personal while the artist works.

Green Practices
- Air quality improvements
-
Lake Superior Art Glass has an industry-standard–exceeding HVAC system, improving air quality and filtration for particulates; especially helpful for a glassblowing studio that generates lots of heat. Our studio also utilizes as much recycled material as possible, ensuring that nothing goes to waste— upcycling broken glass pieces into new artwork, using locally-sourced packing materials from partner businesses, and more.
