Lutsen Mountains is the largest ski area in the Midwest offering four interconnected mountains with 95 runs all spread over 1000 acres overlooking Lake Superior. Lutsen Mountains is mountain skiing without the airfare!
During the summer and fall, Lutsen Mountains’ newest attraction - the Summit Express Gondola is one of the most popular attractions on the North Shore. Take the scenic ride to the summit of Moose Mountain. Enjoy a snack or a meal at the Summit Chalet with its expansive deck overlooking Lake Superior. Explore the hiking trails and scenic views.
The thrill of the Alpine Slide is a family favorite. Getting there is half the fun with a leisurely chairlift ride to the summit of Lutsen's Eagle Mountain. Then hop on your sled and cruise down an exhilarating half mile of twisting, turning track back to the base. You control the speed.
