Opera - just like real life - is rarely an either or situation. Tragedy? Comedy? Melodrama? How about all of the above! This year - LOON's 15th! - we celebrate the fact that It's Complicated. The season starts with a double bill that reminds us that this art form is always ready to sing about real life: the highs, the lows, and the many layers between.
