Located 11 miles south of Isle. Take Mille Lacs Co Rd 20 east off Hwy 169 or Kanabec Co Rd 26 west off Hwy 47. The headquarters is 1 mile north of the intersection of Co Rds 19 and 20.

155 miles of trails, firebreaks, and roads criss-cross Mille Lacs Wildlfie Management Area, creating easy opportunity to view wildlife. The 39,000 acrea wma is home to white-tailed deer, beaver, mink,and black bear. Ruffed grouse, red-tailed and rough-legged hawks, owls, bald eagle, and song and marsh birds are just a few of the species that can be found. Watch for wildlife while hiking, biking, or cross-country skiing. Bring both mosquito and tick repellent when visiting.
