This service is available to anyone who lives or visits the Brainerd Lakes Area. This guide is available to travel to your location, if desired, to lead a bird guided tour. Travel expenses are negotiable and would be added to the fee schedule.

Welcome to Explore Minnesota listing for bird guiding in the Brainerd Lakes Area, Aitkin County and the famous Sax-Zim Bog! Watch the spring/fall bird migrations along the mighty Mississippi River or listen and observe our state bird the Common Loon while visiting the Brainerd area! Your birding adventure starts here where we pick you up from your hotel (Brainerd Only)and provide all the birding equipment for the best experience. Bird guided tours are also available for guests of resorts and B&B's in the area. MN Bird Guide Juddd Brink has been birding in MN and midwest for over 25 years.
Past guiding experience includes the Detriot Lakes Birding festival since 2006 and the Zax-Zim festival since 2008.
Tour guide for the Kirtland Warbler Recovery Project in Grayling, MI in 2000 and 2001.
Tours also feature Aitkin County as one of the best locations for Great-Gray Owl, Northern Hawk Owl, Snowy Owl, Sharp-tailed Grouse, Boreal Chickadee, Gray Jay, Ruffed Grouse and many other winter rarities!
