The Unique Setting
Nestled in downtown Waconia, the 100 year old home that has become the Mocha Monkey is equal parts charm and funk. Everyday of the week people find their favorite spot to meet a friend, write a paper, read a book, hold a meeting, plan an event, host a party or just hang out! Mocha Monkey has a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere offering the best in espresso drinks, food and atmosphere.

The Coffee and Eats
Locally roasted organic fair-trade beans are the foundation for every espresso and coffee inspired drink served! Our highly qualified baristas are trained to prepare a variety of espresso inspired treats…from a classic latte to a caramel coffee smoothie, the options are as delicious as they are endless. Rounding out the menu are Panini sandwiches, fruit smoothies, teas, specialty soups of the day, pizzas and more.

The Live Music
When the weekend arrives, and you need to recharge your batteries, settle in and listen to live music over a cold beer or a carefully selected organic wine. The music selection is often local, acoustic and matches the eclectic vibe of Mocha Monkey.

The Handcrafted Art
Setting Mocha Monkey apart from the others continues with the tradition of serving each order on hand-crafted pottery; plates, bowls, mugs. The pottery, made by owner Jon Schmidt is also for sale. Other local artists such as Oliver Clay Co. and Rhonda Tesch have their pieces awaiting your selection.
