Ney Nature Center

About

The Ney Nature Center (NNC) is home to 446 acres of all the natural world has to offer – forests, prairie, meadows, bluffs, creeks, and a variety of wildlife. Conveniently located halfway between the Twin Cities and Mankato with access from Hwy 169, the Ney Nature Center has something for everyone!

Our Vision: Inspire appreciation and respect for nature.

Our Mission: The Ney Nature Center manages and protects the Ney Wildlife Preserve through education and interaction with the natural world.

As a Le Sueur County park, exploration hours are from sunup until sundown. The Education Building, which houses the office and staff, is open periodically throughout the week and weekend. Check the website for hours of operation and a schedule of programs and events.

Cross-country ski conditions are updated on our website and Facebook.
